Pohutakawa House

Captured in the height of summer, the kitchen at Pohutakawa House uses rich, moody tones to ground the open-plan living space.

With doors opened wide to the courtyard and low-slung front deck, it flows easily into the wider home and outdoors — practical for everyday use, but equally suited to long lunches, family gatherings and weekends by the water.

Designed by Sam Baxter @sumichchaplinarchitects and Peta Davy @yellowfoxnz, Carlielle was selected to manufacture and install the cabinetry throughout the home.
